We always had an open fire/stove at home and it was always lit. We didn't have OFCH till I was about 10. I love an open fire/stove ever since. We had a stove in our kitchen/dining/living which was the real hub of our house. So when we planing our home I wanted to recreate that with a big open plan living area and this is our stove which has been lit everyday since ds arrived.
That is gorgeous Sharon. So cosy. I was just saying to Ian the other evening if we ever get around to building I want a stove like that!
ReplyDeleteI love it Carol, it was great picking out the right stove and then planning the brick work. Building was lots of work (self build) but I really enjoyed it, hope you get to do it.
